Only Bill Maher has this kind of balls. I’d have liked to see ALL comedians come out with Palin daughter jokes (the 18 year old one, of course) in defense of Letterman. She’s 18 and in the media spotlight, you can say whatever the fuck you want about her.

In earlier polls the reformer got the majority of votes. This is one of the major arguments used by the opposition to support their claim. The same polls suggested a record voter outcome. So 80% arent’ that unrealistic.

Come on, there are several aspects to the Palin story, the joke writer made a mistake with which daughter went to the basketball game and it had serious consequences for pretty much everyone involved, it was an easy mistake to make and Dave never said that the girl was a ‘slutty whore’ it’s just gone completely Chinese whispers. If you have an opinion of Letterman and the joke ‘scandal’ find the original jokes and Dave’s apology base your opinion on those, not what other people are saying.

No, not well said. It’s an idiotic argument considered that none of those 80% votes have been actually used, ahmed “dinnerjacket” still won, somehow. Iran is not a role model for democracy, its people are depserate for democracy, yes, but thats it.

Voter turnout in the iranian election: 80%
Voter turnout in the last US election: 63% (The biggest in the last 40 years)
Which again is the role model of democracy?
And unlike the US the people of Iran seem to be willing to risk live and freedom and go to the streets if they believe the elections have been rigged.
