He made a joke about an 18 year old girl who was premeritally knocked up, and I sure is hell wouldn’t want him fired, comedy is comedy. Also in the 2000 election the Bush campaign made up terrible rumors about McCain having a child out of wedlock. None of the conservatives thought said it was wrong for a prestigious political campaign to make up such a ridiculous rumor, but when a comedian cracks a joke, everyone points the finger and demands he be fired.

Letterman state that that baseball player banged up a 14 year old girl that is barbaric and uncivilized. No I said Tod Palin should kick Letterman ass and your ass. The founding fathers was for small government, State rules over it own laws and the Federal Gov. has no say over the States and family. Children should not be the jokes. There are two things you probably would never admit to
1) American MSM is severely tilted leftward.
2) Palin was deliberately attacked hard by the Obama campaign with equally deliberate lies and the MSM was in step the whole distance.
But, those are facts. It’s becoming more apparent week by week. My bet is that when the American people finally demand an outing of the ‘HISTORY’ of this prick, Obama, Palin will be vindicated.

deewillfree, Palin is the one who initiated this false controversy. People tell jokes about the Palins all the time on TV.
The only real issue is that, because of the nature of what was joked about, the Palin’s could accuse Letterman of having said something he never said in the first place. They’re doing this in order to gin-up the mythology that the hard-working, middle-America family-values Palin family is the underdog being picked on by the big bad “elite liberal media.”
