i did something like this in vista. I took a fullscreen snip of the desktop, set it as background and then ended explorer.exe.

after opening paint, ctrl+v will not work. you have to press ‘print screen’ button first.

My friends would always put meatspin or some sick shit like that on my computer if I forgot to log out so I made my screensaver my desktop sort of like this and I was lucky enough to walk in on them trying to put stuff on my computer because well it looked like I forgot to log out and it was great to see them get all excited and then thoroughly disappointed. Stupid fuckers.

Its easier to right click on your desktop, arrange icons by, and uncheck show desktop icons; then having to save all of your desktop icons in a folder.
