I’m glad they’re in the top 10 because they deserve it. With their unique brand of comedy they’ve set a standard for surreal comedy today. However I’m not sure they should have been higher (even though I love them to death and would personally like to number one, obviously) but I think this countdown was mostly fair, only because the top 2 were spot on.

Its a bit wierd that Ed Byrne was used for a talking head when he’s doesnt seem THAT impressed by them.
Also I’m interested as to why they didn’t mention the reason they obviously came in a Top 10 voted by comedians and ‘insiders’. They basically invented a brand of comedy that dominated and inspired the 90s (Day Today, Fast Show etc.) and beyond (Boosh), yet all they say is “oh their proper random”

MY thoughts EXACTLY…I always say they’re the closest to morecambe & wise that you’re ever gonna get but there yer go…
They still did really well though

I know, I was watching it with me’ sister & we was like “OH WOW NUMBER 9! Get in, lads!” hahaha. I think they were only like, 2 behind Laurel & Hardy

I was extremely chuffed for them!
