@ddymondd1960 You said he was a “typical irish wanker” suggesting most if not all Irish people were wankers and no I don’t pride myself on being too bright but I don’t like people you would slate an entire group of people because of an opinion of one person belonging to that group.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@mcsammer4 Oh geeeeez I said HE was an Irish wanker, I didnt say ALL irish people are wankers. I could have meant typical wanker that so happens to be Irish if you like, but my comment is my opinion and that is it. If you want to get huffy and sensitive, go ahead. Not my problem only yours my dear. Your obviously not very bright (or Irish lol)

@ddymondd1960 When you come a video and say something like “such a twat. typical irish wanker, thats so not funny!” is not only very harsh and blunt on a video where others are clearly enjoying what has been said. Not only that but could offend many Irish people assuming they are all the same.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@mcsammer4 Wot, the row your obviously having with yourself? If it so pleases you to WIn as you say, then go ahead, Knock yourself out. Just cos you like him and I dont, is my opinion, you can have yours, and Im pleased for you.

@ddymondd1960 ……….yeah the 3,366 people who liked this and the people who did like it but didn’t rate think otherwise.
Plus your Irish stereotype is wrong.

September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm

September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm

this is actually dam good
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@prouck “a fucking ignorant” sounds like you should study grammar eh?
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@baubineau Calling a song ironic because its filled with things that are not ironic isn’t ironic unless they are trying to be ironic… which is his point.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@Loostifer Nope coincidental.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
I was watching this video just before I had to go out, about ten minutes later the song Ironic came on the radio in the car. Ironic?
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
Who knew irony could create so many arguments?
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
His answer for the only exception that would make the name of the song correct –being of course that the entire song is ironic because it actually is filled with things that aren’t ironic — is the reason Alanis gave shortly after releasing the song. So as funny as he is suggesting ways to reword this song, his point is moot.

@neonatalpenguin
“If I were to thank you for not being a patronising douche, that would be ironic, as that’s what you are.” – I am just swedish here.. But.. You’re wrong?
Wouldn’t that be sarcastic.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@neonatalpenguin Just like there’s no need to be a stuck up asshole. We’re even.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@Onasariel There’s no need to be hostile, you tepid cuntwipe.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@neonatalpenguin And you’re being a stuck up douchebag. Get that nice stick out of your ass, shut the fuck up, and let us enjoy this sketch.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@prouck I suppose you’re going to play troll no matter what I say on this subject, but I might as well fight my corner. Something that is incongruous with reality is merely situational irony, which isn’t defined by most dictionaries as being ironic at all; since there is no ironic intent behind it. I get the feeling you have an awful lot of your own self-worth invested in this argument, but you’re wrong.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:28 pm
@prouck The Alanis Morrisette definition of irony is obviously incorrect (e.g. “a ‘no smoking’ sign on your cigarette break”), but the Ed Byrne definition is wrong too (e.g. “a ‘no smoking’ sign in a cigarette factory”). Neither of these examples happens because of an intentional inversion of reality. A ‘no smoking’ sign on an ashtray, however, would be ironic, as the literal meaning is delibaretely opposite to the intended meaning.
