LOL! He does!
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Yeah, it was as if he was trying to channel Andy Kaufman. It was still funny, but I still prefer the rat bastard Norm we all know and love.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
I love Norm
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
howard’s show would be SO much better without robin.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Hahah, awesome. Kattan is a fucking goof, and horribly unfunny. He deserved to get the royal deflation treatment at the hands of the kick awesome Norm MacDonald.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Agreed. If you watch those old Dean Martin roasts, those are the jokes. Corniest stuff that killed for some reason back then. That’s why all the comics there got it, and no one else seemed to like.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Oh. My. God. I hate Jim Breuer.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Wrong. Bob’s always been dirty despite his tv show past.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
The set was comprised entirely of old jokes that were actually told at Friar’s Club Roasts. Just funny how sensibilities change. Norm’s got respect for the history of comedy that it really showed with that he did at the Saget roast.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
his roast of saget was fucking genius.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
1:04 sounds like Krusty the Clown not Norm
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Devilsrain….
His raos of Saget was an inside joke..here’s what you didn’t know…
All those jokes Norm was telling? Were OLD BOB SAGET JOKES.
He was making fun of how horribly unfunny Bob Saget’s standup routines have been over the years.
Think of it through Bob’s eyes and I’m sure you’d appreciate the humor.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
he did those jokes on the roast on purpose. It was intentionally suppose to be g-rated jokes.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Ahh, the only thing that upset me about Norm bit at the Saget roast was at the end he didn’t say “… and these jokes were written by Bob Saget”.
I was hoping he’d do it throughout the entire set, but it never happened *sigh*. Norm’s awesome though, Screwed and Dirty Business were so hilarious.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
because you don’t understand that Norm was intentionally bombing when he roasted Saget. It’s a little more nuanced than most people can understand.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
idiot.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Maybe to some. In my opinion, it was so intentionally unfunny, that it was hilarious. Norm is a genius, which is a term that’s overused these days I know, but he deserves the title.
It’s a certain brand of humor that you either get it or you don’t, you apparently do not. Enjoy the next Dane Cook special, and be sure to Tivo “Mind of Mencia”, wouldn’t wanna miss that.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
I get that they were intentionally unfunny. I think when someone does something like that though, people generally lose interest fast. To me its like taking an easy way out, like “Oh yea ill just bomb so I dont have to do any work” Thats just how it comes across
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
If you thought that those jokes were norm’s actual real material, you are an idiot.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
Well the roast was anti-comedy. He was intentionally bombing. The whole joke is that he was doing the lamest set a comedian could do. That doesn’t mean you can’t not like it, buy I thought it was kind of funny.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
I actually just ripped on Norm for his horrible roast of saget, but I got to respect the guy just based on Jims story
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
LAWL
Chris Catan is fail, Jimmy Fallon turned out to have more talent than him.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
